Reawakening with Spring

After a long inward-looking reflective fall and winter, will you join me in shifting our thinking. As spring approaches, let’s anticipate a reawakening within our being as well as in nature around us. Visualize your world as you hope it will be and feel it now as though it already exists right now.  Let’s take a few moments to contemplate or meditate on this poetic verse below as we move forward.

Taken from The Path to a More Inspiring Future pg 16

Let our spirits rise to this challenge.

May we have the courage to take each step

slowly, lovingly, gracefully,

patiently noticing our heart’s response

bravely allowing

even while unsure of the path.

May we have faith in our personal strength.

Recharge and Revitalize

I am very excited about a new program I am offering on line called Recharge and Revitalize. It is my passion to help people feel inspired, even when they are feeling disengaged, unheard, without a focus or direction. But also those who are already living their purpose but feel there is still something missing.   I sense a lot of that around in today’s world. I can help. That is why I wrote the book “The Path To A more Inspiring Future” and why I am creating “Recharge and Revitalize”. This course is designed as a journey to help you live your life on purpose, find your inner strength and build resilience to handle future challenges. It will be up to you.

I was intrigued by this picture of me within the root system of this large tree in Seville, Spain. Sometimes we already have all we need but it feels like a maze. Something like this tree.

During the program I will draw from my book. It will be enhanced

>by my experiences from workshops and retreats I led following my doctoral research on making life more meaningful,

>from my work with Lance Secretan

>from other books I have read,

>from knowledgeable people I have met who have focused their work on living on purpose with spirit in the workplace and

>from what I have learned from nature.

The class will run once a week on a Wednesday from 1:30 to 3:30 for about 8 weeks EST (Toronto time), on Zoom. Start date is October 5th.

  • If someone asks you where are you going in life do you answer “I don’t know.”
  • The world has changed and it will continue to do so.  Does that concern you?
  • Are you burning out?
  • Do you sometimes feel like you are bush whacking in the forest without a compass?
  • Do you feel that life is OK but something is missing?

If any of those statements reflect your view of yourself, this course might be for you. It will help you find your direction, the one that is most meaningful for you. It will offer you an opportunity to uncover and reignite your passion, feel empowered, strong and compassionate. The answers are within you and this course will help you find them.

Cost of the course is $275CAD. But there are discounts. Are you really interested in the program but you just don’t have the money? I can possibly offer you a discounted price depending on your circumstances. Contact me marieknapp@rogers.com.

Until I get a registration option on my website, my preference is to be paid by electronic transfer. When you register and pay, I will send you a pdf of my book for your use through this journey we take together.

Imagine an Inspiring Future

Every time I listen to the news or read the headlines I am nudged to move my thoughts to something more inspiring.  As you probably have read in my book, I believe we must live the life we want to see as the future for the planet and humanity.  It seems that we can only bring about what we can actually visualize and we may need to help each other with this.  Let’s make this a good place to start.  I would like us to share the qualities we would see in a future that is inspiring for all.  The images we can create are limitless.  Our vision needs to be uplifting and caring.  So what does that look like.  Can you picture a story that would fit this image?  For example you might visualize a community pot luck gathering where all are welcome.  All ages, all orientations and cultures, all levels of education and wealth or lack of them.  Everyone is mingling and mixing and helping each other as needed.  Perhaps this is an image for Canada Day or Independence Day for the US.

Your visualization can be anything that you would love to see in your future that contributes to the future of humanity and the planet. Perhaps it is a headline you would read, or a new business you would see or a family gathering. As we read the different images and visualize them, we are contributing to their fruition. I am really really looking forward to reading them.

Your response can be posted on the Facebook page for more inspiring future or send it to me through messenger or knappmarie1@gmail.com and I will post it anonymously for you if you prefer .

Happy fall

Not officially fall but when I look at the sky and smell the air, and feel the coolish breeze on my face … well fall is on its way. It won’t be long.

I have not been sending out blogs lately for a very important reason I have been focusing my writing time and energy on a book I have been writing.

The Path To A More Inspiring Future. I am very excited about sharing the book with you. My intention is that it will be hopeful and uplifting for the readers. It is currently in the hands of my valuable editor. After I make the necessary changes, the book will go for printing. And it will also become an eBook.

This is just a short message for now. I will keep you posted, telling you a bit more about the book and where you will be able to get it. Meanwhile I will share a poem that I have written in the book

The present nudges me forward.

I begin in the now.

Within my being

my true self resides,

sometimes hiding behind the cloak of fear.

I look to hope, honesty, and acceptance

to shine its light on my path.

Wishing you a happy September.

Till next time,

Marie
